Every Christmas there are families who will not be receiving gifts and necessities because they are struggling financially and gifts are beyond reach. If you would like to help fulfill the needs of these families this Christmas join the Friends of Saint Nicholas. 
The Friends of Saint Nicholas is a group of anonymous parishioners who are following in Saint Nicholas's  footsteps by spreading the love of Christ through helping families in Preble County community in need this Christmas. 
There are many ways you can help. We will be asking for monetary donations. Specific donations once families have contacted us will need purchased. Help wrapping and organizing donations. Homemade cookies and treats to spread holiday cheer.  Prayers for the families in need.  There are ways for all ages to help share the love and joy of Jesus Christ's Birth! 
Who's Saint Nicholas? 
Saint Nicholas was born in the third century to devout christian parents. Love of Christ led Saint Nicholas  to use all of his inheritance to help the needy, the sick, and suffering. Saint Nicholas's charitable gifts were done in secret, expecting nothing in return. Every December 6th we celebrate the life and wondrous deeds of Saint Nicholas. Through his example we too bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the world while helping those in need.
