Many do not know that there is a Shrine in the C-1 Family of Parishes. Our Lady of the Highways Shrine is in front of St. Mary Catholic Church in Camden, Ohio. It was dedicated in the early 1950’s. Since then Rt 127 was moved and no longer passes right in front of the Church. The shrine is need of repairs. We are beginning the process of refurbishing the structure. We are looking for a group of dedicated parishioners to work together to plan and implement the work and fundraising for the cost of these repairs. If you are interested in this project, please leave your name and phone number at 937-733-6610. The first meeting will be after the 8:00 Mass July 21 at St. Mary, Camden.
